Atdec TH-32-63-UTB Universal TV Wall Mount for LCD/Plasma HDTVs

Strengths:

Fairly easy to install. Atdec frequently offers rebates on this product

Weaknesses:

The instruction leaflet could have been a little bit more specific.

Posted 1 year ago - I bought this for a 32 inch LCD HDTV and it mounted fairly easily. I say fairly because the screws that go into the wall are huge and were a real pain to get in all the way. It was very each to attach the brackets to the back of the TV, but I was a little bit leery when hanging the TV because the brackets attach with four little screws and I was afraid that they wouldn’t hold the weight. But it’s been several weeks now and have not had any problems yet. The viewing angle is easily adjustable without having to removing it from the wall mount. Atdec frequently offers a $40 rebate on this product, so if you can get it with a rebate, it is really a good deal. However, I wish I would have purchased a wall mount that can swivel from side to side as well instead of just up and down.

Easy installation with awesome price

Strengths:

Lower price than others, easy to install and solid construction

Weaknesses:

Posted 1 year ago - Easy to install and great hardware kit included to cover non-VESA compliant displays with mounting hole patterns from 7" - 29" wide (180mm to 740mm) by 4" - 20" high (100mm to 500mm) Or VESA compliant displays with 100mm x 200mm (4" x 8") and 200mm x 200mm (8" x 8") mounting hole patterns. I only use a drill, 5/16’’ drill bit, a screw driver and stud finder to accomplish the installation. I am totally newbie on drilling thing, it only took me 1 hour to mount my 37’’ LCD. It also came with a theft resistant rob that enable you to secure it with a lock.

Go With This One

Strengths:

Sturdy, Simple to Install, Priced lower than most(when you get it with a rebate), can secure the tv to the mount with a lock, slides horizontal and angle can be adjusted vertically.

Weaknesses:

None that I can see.

Posted Apr 15, 2008 - I was really surprised when I purchased this mount. Not only is it a great deal, but it came with everything I needed to install the mount to the wall as well as the brackets to attach to the back of my tv. It took me about two hours to install everything which included time to find wall studs, drill, etc. The wall mount felt secure on the wall before I attached the tv to it which eased my doubts I had. Spend the extra money($10 at the time of this review) for the model with the adjustable tilt as it makes a difference when you have the tv hanging on the wall and its above your line of sight.

Great Wall Mount

Strengths:

- Easy to install despite vague inadequate instructions - Very sturdy - Fits a wide variety of televisions - Came with wide variety of screws, bolts & adapters

Weaknesses:

- Very vague instructions

Posted Feb 28, 2008 - The instructions that came with the wall mount were very vague. If you are already familiar with the steps of installing a wall mount, they are sufficient but for a beginner more information is required. You will definitely need two people for most steps of the installation. The mount itself is well made, very sturdy, very adjustable and should fit a wide range of monitors and televisions. All around I would say it is a very good value.
