Sharp 26" LCD/DVD TV

Strengths: Very nice picture. Sharp & Clear. Great color

Weaknesses: Poor sound quaility from such a great TV.

This Sharp TV Model# LC-26DV22U 26" LCD TV w/DVD Player. Will stand up to anyother name brand LCD TV on the market. And still be clearer and sharper than 95% of them. We looked at most on the market before we decided on this model. DVD works great. Wanted it for a bedroom and so far the only fault is the poor sound for a smaller area which surprised both of us!

What does "poor sound for a smaller area" mean? I will be using the CD player for music and teaching audio as often as I use the TV and DVD for movies. What is the description or, perhaps, the technology/equipment that accounts for "poor sound"? Does the reviewer consider "poor sound" to be unclear dialogue on a DVD, too much bass in music, not loud enough, or music/audio CD's can't be adjusted for bass & treble emphasis? Please advise.
