Manufacture delivers a new TV without a working remote, and when I call, they say its on back order!!
Posted Sep 11, 2006 - I received the TV August 4, 2006, and when I put batteries in the remote, the unit would not turn on. They had packaged a remote # CT-875. I looked at the manual provided and saw that the correct unit was # WC-SBG1. I was able to get a remote from another Toshiba TV I have and it would turn the set on and off, and the lower non-cable channels. I called Toshiba first thing the following Monday a.m. and was told a remote would be mailed to me within 2-3 business days. I have called once weekly since then, and today is Sept. 11, 2006, and I still have not received it. They say "It is on back order" each time I call. HELP!!
