If there were an option for zero stars, they would have earned it. UAKC had a part for a reasonable price, and in stock, so I ordered it. On 8/3/2011. They cancelled the order without notifying me. So today, 8/24, I found out that the part I needed 2 weeks ago is not being sent. Forget these people, they're not worth the aggravation. Find a more reputable place to buy things from. These people are not. The representative that I spoke with didn't even offer an apology; simply stated that I should check my Junk folder for the cancellation notice (which I did, to no avail) Avoid like the plague. |

(Edited February 14th by Munchu) I've been looking for refrigerator for a long time. My wife is very peaky. Universal guys helped us very professionally. Usually my wife is very slow in her decision making process, but this time she made her decision faster then I've expected. She picked Whirlpool refrigerator. The process of ordering was easy, delivery made right on time. We are very satisfied customers. Especially me, because I see that my wife got exactly what she wanted. |

Universal appliance is one of the best suppliers on a market, and they have the best prices I could find over the Internet. There were no problems with availability and shipping. The price they gave me for dishwasher was unbeatable, the shipping was extremely reasonable and fast (Fedex Freight services). The phone support person was very friendly. It was one of my best experience in ordering major appliances. |

Washing machine and pedestal order came in one month after the order was placed. Company called and said that the delivery would arrive between 1pm-5pm. Delivery arrived at 8pm that evening. Pedestal was damaged and not accepted. Company was called to replace the pedestal. They called back 3 days later and said that they were going to deliver on a Saturday between 8-12pm. Stayed home ALL Saturday and no delivery. Called the company on the following Monday and was told that the pedestal was still on order from the manufacturer. Waited another week and a half and then cancelled the order. It's been 4 days and I have not yet seen the money refunded to my account. Every time I called to speak to customer service I was put on hold for at least 10 minutes. Less than poor experience. |

I ordered a cooktop griddle for a Jenn-air cooktop on May 19th and as of May 30th it has still not shipped. I have called the customer service line three times and each time they have informed me that it has shipped. I will never place an order with Universal again. |

Great price. My order (a cooking range) arrived sooner than expected. My only critique is that the sellers website does not show the tracking number. Having said so the shipper called and told me when to expect delivery. I saved $700 over retail and that is after paying shipping. |

Completely unreliable. Just randomly chose to reject my credit card and cancel my order. They would not accept an "international credit card," for the simple reason that this is "company policy" - so there was nothing particularly wrong with my Visa. Guys, the major point of Visa is to be able to pay abroad! |
