Placed the order on Saturday and was quoted free shipping. Got an e-mail Tuesday saying shipping was renegotiated and would be $19.95. Absolutely ridiculous on a $30 item plus a $6 "packaging materials fee". Classic bait and switch, advertise $30 and final cost is $56. |

Only one basic email: "tracking" information said only that the order was "in progress" for over 2 weeks (site promises 'fast delivery”), so I gave them a call and got a rather arrogant salesperson who would only say it was "backordered" and it be shipped soon. His suggestion was that I buy it from somewhere else. I called the manufacturer and found that the item was regularly available; in stock at all their warehouse locations. A week and a half later I called again; got more arrogance and excuses. After talking to 3 individuals, I was told differing stories that didn't jive—obvious lie(s) in there somewhere. It was clear even on the first call they didn't want to sell to me: they kept suggesting I cancel the order every time I talked to anyone. It appears the profit margin on the item was so small and the shipping costs high enough—they draw you in with a promise of free shipping—that they had no interest in me and my piddlely $45 sale. Order cancelled by them. |

Great experience. It wasn't the very lowest price, but it was what I'd call the lowest "solid" price. What I mean by that is no worries about gray market stuff, heavy up-sale, combative customer service reps, etc. The packing was excellent. Even the freight company they used had detailed tracking and delivered a day early. Really, really pleased. |

My online ordering experiences with universalLCD have been extremely pleasant. My order arrived before I expected and the packaging is excellent. I order online on a regular basis. I have experience dealing with many companies that sell online and this company is among my favorites. They answer their phones and they respond to e-mails. |
