I searched all over the internet for the Canon D10 waterproof digital camera as a "last minute" gift for my husband for Father's Day. US1 camera had the best price among the sites that appeared to have good reputable ratings. While I was told that the camera would take 7 to 10 business days to ship, I actually received the product in three days!!! My husband was thrilled and used the camera for a fishing trip that next week. He loves it. Thanks!! |

(27 June 2009) Ladies and Gentlemen, I unfortunately have to write a bad review for this company. I ordered a Canon 40D with a 28-135mm lens, website stated "in stock", received my confirmation e-mail, all is well, however it was not so. Two weeks later I was checking my credit card statement and noticed it had not yet been charged. I contacted their customer service, it took several e-mails to get them to answer, and when they did they wrote order cancelled. I immediately wrote back asking why and not to cancel my order. They stated it was on back order and that is the category they placed my order in so my credit card was not charged and I needed to confirm I still wanted the ordered item. I again immediately confirmed I did want my order and to send it immediately once they received more stock. I should have been more suspicious when a company does not have a back ordered category but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. (END OF PART I) |

I was trying to purchase Canon Rebel XSi body only. When i ordered it i didn't get a confirmation with a tracking number. But i thought i needed to wait some more. After a few days i called their customer service and they told me that this product is out of stock, although on their web site it was clearly noted that it is IN STOCK. So, i decided to wait, as the price was pretty good at that time. I've been waiting for about three weeks and was trying to call them but each time got the same response back. We are out of stock, but in a week we will get those cameras. After three weeks i decided to cancel my order with them and ordered the same camera from the other web site. Don't want to deal with those people anymore even if they offer a good price! |

I can only give this a 4 because of the great service of Thomas. I had ordered it on May 31 but the Nikon d90 were out of stock, waiting for a shipment from Nikon. I noticed on Jun 2nd on their website that the cameras were in. I called on the 4th since I didn't see the deal had gone thru and was told that the current problem was that their American Express machine was still broken and wouldn't be fixed for 2 weeks. Really? I changed cards and then waited for shipment. It was charged to my card on the Jun 5th. Then by the 9th, I didn't see that it was shipping. So I called. That is where Thomas jumped in. He didn't know where the package was right then - but fixed it by changing the shipment to FEDEX. It amazingly arrived the next day. If he had been who I dealt with from the beginning, the rating would have been a 5. |

(Edited June 12th by DRWheelock) I was leaving on a Caribbean cruise 4 days after my order was placed, and Bruce (my sales rep) went the EXTRA mile to accomodate our needs to ensure we had our D90 camera and accessories prior to our flight to Florida. After internet price comparison, I saved a ton on my purchase, so I chose to purchase the extended warranty on the Nikon D90 I purchased! GREAT customer service Bruce...keep up the work! STAY AWAY FROM US1PHOTO ! After I have ordered the 5D canon Mark II they call me to confirm the order 4 DAYS LATER, turns out that he wanted to sell me warranty because the camera was imported and had only 90 days store warranty. Dear Bruce this should be on your website!!! I day later we agreed on a price with extended warranty included of $2699. He call me Back and tells me i ordered with my AMEX card, and they would like me to use i different card. They didn't want to loose money on the AMEX fees. This company is a waist of time, never was be able to get the camera, Bruce at US1Photo cancelled the order. I have order then the camera from OneCall for $2699, free shipping and US warranty, i got it 3 days later.. STAY AWAY FROM US1PHOTO |

There were problems with another company they used but it was fixed in a timely manner. One person continued with the problem until resolved and was happy with the final outcome. I needed another lense and came back after shopping for price only. They had the best price and were great about following through with my order. |

The prices were as good as, if not better than amazon, ritz and ebay. Bruce was very helpful. I really felt as if he was trying to help me to save money while getting the most for my money. He was very helpful, respectful and polite. Was willing to answer any questions and offered tips and helpful hints. He was very knowledgeable about the product I was purchasing. |

(Edited June 05th by lyoungblood1) I would not order from them. They claim to have the camera in stock, but actually, they do not. Instead, they take your order, wait a couple days, then pretend to do an "order verification." This is really just an opportunity to try and up-sell you on overpriced memory cards and accessories. Then, they force you to give them a review of the company on pricegrabber before they will give you "upgraded shipping." At this point you've been waiting a few days and your order hasn't even shipped, so the upgraded shipping is necessary just to get it there in a week or so (normal UPS ground delivery timeframe). Now it is Friday and I placed the order Tuesday and they still haven't shipped it... In short, I wouldn't buy from them for the following reasons: Claim they have it in stock when they don't, force you to call them for an opportunity to sell more stuff, and force you to give a favorable review before receiving your order. |

The process was very easy and understandable on the computer. So far, so good. Follow up survey - I received exactly what I ordered but it seemed like it took a couple of days to get it into the mail. I also got a message that I needed to call about my order only to find out it was to try to sell me additional stuff. I didn't like that they tried to be somewhat sneaky about the reason for the call. |
