not so impressed

Strengths:

Worked well for crumbs etc on hard surfaces

Weaknesses:

Did not pick up dog hair well from any type of surface- leather furniture, hardwood floors, cloth pillows or carpet.

Posted 1 year ago - I did not try this on liquids because I plan to return it due to its poor performance with dog hair. We have two dogs with very different hair type (one medium-length and wiry, the other very short and soft) and it did poorly with both hair types.

Great for oopsies

Strengths:

quick clean up WET and Dry/ easy to clean out/empty

Weaknesses:

Loud, aqua/silver color

Posted Jan 18, 2008 - I had one of these long ago and loved it. Any spill, I would reach behind the couch, grab this and save my table, carpet, etc. Then one day the motor died. I tried to find it in stores and could never find the WET/Dry combo on the dustbusters. But it had proven such a useful tool, I did not give up and just bought this new one. not thrilled about the new color (Aqua/Silver)--it used to just be smoke glass/black. But this is well worth the money and super easy to clean. I recommend it.

a good handheld vacuum

Strengths:

easy to use and clean

Weaknesses:

No indicator for battery life

Posted Dec 12, 2006 - The 7.2 volt battery provides perfect suction on hard wood. It picks up hairs and dust easily. On the carpet, it is not as powerful, but still OK. A 16 hours full charge gives about 8 minutes work time. Suitable for small room and car interior. Does not work with cored mode.

Hoover Wet & Dry Vac a winner

Strengths:

Powerfull Motor. Ability to pick up wet spills

Weaknesses:

7 minuets of work time

Posted Nov 21, 2006 - I used a Hoover Wet & Dry Vac for many years until the battery finally Gave up. This model is the Newer version of the old classic. It is easy to use and comes in handy for the little spills that happen around the house. With this Vacuum you don't have to drag out a full sized one for some crumbs! It will run about 7 minuets on a charge but small spills will not take that long anyway.Good value for the price and the only Quality one on the market!
