I called to check on availability due to a bad review. Was assured it was in stock with Barclay and would ship directly. After long period, called Chase, repeatedly, at Vidavici. Was assured he'd call with updated information. Each time I had to do the follow-up. Finally it was next day aired and did arrive-65 days after I paid. At one point Chase said it was not his problem as Barclay was shipping. I said it was his problem-it's called customer service. The one positive is that Chase seems to be the only one to answer the phone. This saved me having to explain it to numerous people. I will not do business with this company again. |

Ordered item based on item availability. Order immediately went into Pending status and stayed there for 9 days, at which point I called. They said it would be taken care of immediately and I would receive within 3-4 business days. At the end of that time it was still Pending, so I called and cancelled. A little truthfulness could have saved us both a lot of trouble. |

good website with quality products and reasonable prices; merchant told me part of my order was not in stock but the rest of my shipment would be sent immediately; I believe what they did was wait until they had my entire order in stock before shipping to me, this was the likely reason for a somewhat slow receipt date of the goods at my house; this did not cause me a problem however where they had a gap for me was on the communication side i.e. I did not know the order was being held and did not receive a tracking number for many days post ordering; this notwithstanding, I am very satisfied with this VidaVici purchase and would recommend them / use them again in future with the caveat being not to necessarily expect strong communication about your delivery |

This is my second ordering experience with VidaVici. Prices are excellent, online chat help available. First order arrived on time, no problems, great price. Second order placed just before Christmas. While I didn't need the items immediately, it would have been nice to know they wouldn't ship until after New Year's (small outfit and were on vacation between Xmas and New Year's) Also, I received shipping tracking number but UPS somehow never scanned the order. All arrived on time once shipped tho, just a little nervewracking. Overall, if 5 business day delivery is ok for the free shipping, go for it...you'll be very happy with them. |

I was disappointed in their ability to manage my order and follow up with the manufacturer. I ordered a toilet on 11/19/09, and Vidavici placed an order with the manufacturer. After calling Vidavici multiple times to check on the status, they finally contacted the manufacturer on 12/8 to discover that the toilet order was in limbo because of an inventory system issue on their side. The order was finally processed properly and shipped out on 12/14, arriving at a local shipper who failed to get it on a truck for two days, so I finally drove to their warehouse and picked it up on 12/18. It took almost one full month and a huge effort to complete this purchase. A good company can not only handle the easy orders, but should have systems in place to track the orders that they have accepted responsibility for. A good price is not always enough. |
