Monster 6 foot DVI to HDMI cable

Strengths:

excellent reception

Posted Feb 12, 2006 - I was told Monster cables are by far the best and worth the price. My high def reception is very nice with these cables but I am not sure it is dramatically better than with a cheaper brand. The price was the lowest at Buy.com.

Great cable

Strengths:

Works!!

Weaknesses:

A little expensive for a cable.

Posted Jul 25, 2006 - Acoustic Research AP series works just as well and costs 1/3 less. Radioshack also has their own brand that is not quite the same gauge wire but well insulated. I would not recommend this cable unless you are prepared to pay a little higher for brand name.

HDMI to DVI HD Cable 1080p versus 1080i

Strengths:

Excellent price and quick delivery.

Weaknesses:

Not clearly delineated that it was used up to 1080i rather than the latest 1080p. Thus it was outdated although still usable.

Posted 1 month ago - It must be clearly clarified that the cable that is being sold is, by specifications, only usable up to 1080i insstead of the state of art 1080p. These two types of cable should be separated by category rather than conjoined.

Posted 1 year ago - Does what it's supposed to. Made of good quality materials so you can expect this to last a while. Worst-buy charges 120 bucks for the exact same cable. But then, one must be retarded to pay $120 for a cable!
