scottwatson - (February 11, 2006) The connection is between 60” Sony KDS-R60XBR1 and Scientific Atlanta 8300HD DVR supplied by Time Warner Cable. This one small cable replaces five other cables (three video, two audio). The difference between the digital audio supplied by the HDMI cable and the analog from the old connection is very noticeable. The HDMI picture appears to be slightly better than the component video, I doubt that most people would notice – both inputs are 1080i. I recommend making the switch to HDMI and wish I had ordered two cables to save on shipping. This $18.92 cable will deliver the same performance as the $120 cables sold in your local stores.

redskinsfan - (February 05, 2008) I feel like I was suckered into buying these... I just purchased a new Samsung HDTV with 120 Hz processing. At the store, the associate told me that to take advantage of the full 120-Hz, I needed these super HDMI cables. If I didn't get them, there was no reason to buy my TV. Well, needless to say, I purchased them and everything looked great, but then one of my cables broke somehow, so I swaped it out what a very basic HDMI cable that came with my DVD player as I sent the Monster one back for replacement, and to be honest, I don't see any difference in my picture quality or processing speed. So, in the end, they seem to work great, but I'm not sure how much of that is the cable vs. the TV.

zapparino - (April 28, 2005) Monster cables have the best reputation for delivering quality picture and sound ..... From their clean power theatre outlets / audio cables / and now it's this HDMI to HDMI 3ft. useable lenght.> Bestbuy only had 6ft length and longer ....No reason to pay for alot of extra wire...

jimmynj12 - (10/24/2009) It must be clearly clarified that the cable that is being sold is, by specifications, only usable up to 1080i insstead of the state of art 1080p. These two types of cable should be separated by category rather than conjoined.

Serge713 - (06/17/2009) Don't buy this product, they will send you a generic brand. I paid for a Monster camcorder HDMI cable adapter and they sent me a generic brand mini HDMI adaptor. This is not even a cable.I am very disappointed
