Works Well. Does what it is supposed to do.

Strengths:

It displays good quality cable TV.

Weaknesses:

INstalling drivers and getting the remote to work takes some time.

Posted Apr 19, 2008 - Overall, the card does what it's supposed to do. It is nice value for money. Just have some patience on getting it up and running. Also the manufacturer website needs better support

Posted Feb 8, 2008 - It tunes the cable channels. That is all I wanted it to do. It works fine. I wish it had a digital tuner, but I will just upgrade when the digital tuners are cheaper. I like it.

Okay card for the money

Strengths:

Easy to install in Windows

Weaknesses:

Doesn't always work right in Linux

Posted Oct 16, 2007 - This is my first TV tuner card, purchased from PCmicrostore. Batteries were corroded and unusable, but card worked fine when installed in my Windows PC. Tried to get it set up in Ubuntu, and had a lot of difficulty because of the chipset. After some trial and error, it works fine now. Okay card for the money.

Cost, ease of hardware installation.

Posted Apr 24, 2007 - I bought this TV Tuner card instead of another TV for my computer area. Installing the card was not an issue, but the software was extremely difficult to get installed and working. I had to move the card to another slot and re-install the software to get the card working. The picture quality is not bad, adequate for use while working on the computer. Getting the channel autoscan to save and load each time is an issue, but not a show stopper. I would recommend this card for the computer user who wants a television feed in their computer area but does not want to purchase another TV.

Tv tuner

Strengths:

If You Want to Have A Your Cable Hooked Up to your computer this is a great way to do that for little money

Weaknesses:

remote has no pause play rewind fastforword

Posted Dec 29, 2006 - it's worth it for the price easy to use plug and play it a great addition to the media cappabilitys of your computer but i do have to say there seems to be little bugs in the software it comes with like at the top of the interwindvr progeam it comes with theres like a 1/8/inch stripe of fuzzy nothing and i had to strech out the screen to get rid of it
