Don't Waste Your Money

Works randomly, not dependable.
Posted 1 year ago - I have had the unit for over six months. I did manage to get it to capture a few videos, but now it will not work at all. I chatted with tech support for days, to no avail. Now it is in the hands of "Upper Level Support" for review. All in all, the device has worked randomly. I have to keep recycling the power plug and my new, 16 gig, fat32, flash drive. Sometimes I get lucky and it will capture a video. It also doesn't work with a new external hard drive (formatted to fat32)as advertised. I have done everything tech support advised. Bottom line, only buy this if you are looking for a lot of headaches and frustration. It isn't worth 99 cents, much less 99 dollars. Avid (they own Pinnacle) should be ashamed of Pinnacle products and its support. By the way, their video editing software is also worthless. Don't take my word for this, check their user forums and see the problems people have with Pinnacle.
