Strengths:

The package came with all the needed cables and adapters. Installed easily with no problems.

Weaknesses:

Cooling fan should blow hot air out of the case.

Posted Jul 8, 2007 - I upgraded from a ATI Radeon X700Pro that has 256MB of memory and the improvement is quite noticeable. It installed with no problems whatsoever and it booted-up correctly with no glitches or errors!! It is absolutely great, I'm totally impressed!! In my opinion it should have been designed to blow the hot air it produces out of the case instead of inside the case. I am going to install a slot cooler fan under the graphic card to help remove the heat out of the case that it produces. Please note: I may be a little cautious about the heat it produces. It is recommended to have at least a 450 watt power supply so I upgraded to a Xion 600 watt PowerReal (version 2.01) ATX power supply, with which I'm extremely happy with too. According to what I've read the X1950 will be the last and fastest graphic card made for the AGP port so I suggest that if are considering to buy one, buy a model with 512MB of memory. Also, it is quite possible that manufacturers may stop making them soon due to AGP being an obsolete technology so don't wait to long if you want one. My system is a Broadway 337PLW-BK gaming case with an Intel D865PERL AAC27648-210 motherboard, 2558 Megabytes of Kingston value memory installed in 4 slots, Creative SB X-Fi sound card, two CD drives, and a 200 gig hard drive. I am using Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600) as my operating system software.

Great Performance at a Great Price

Weaknesses:

Power Hungry, Strongly recommend at least a 500 PSU to get optimal performance from both your pc and the GPU, Sapphire DirectX 10 AGP Radeon Series 2600XT,2400 Pro,2400 Pro on the way!

Posted Jul 17, 2007 - Very pleased with the performance that this card puts out, some that run into problems with this card are usually the result of running the card below the required power supply specs. Great Card and performance for the money, Strongly Recommended.
