ATI RADEON 9200 Graphics Card

Strengths: ATI brand, 8X AGP, passive heatsink = quiet!

Weakness: Falling into the lower end of video cards.

I purchased this video card as an upgrade for my son's computer last year. It was a great improvement over his previous card. He was able to play the current video games with little or no lag. Although this card is now a little dated, having 128MB of video ram with 8X AGP keeps this card among the good choices of entry-level graphics for games. Most games will work fine with the exception of today's graphic intensive Doom III and Halo 2. If you are looking for a reliable graphic card for older games, desktop publishing, and other day to day tasks, this card will more than suffice. Having a passive (no fan) heat sink is a plus for those who are bothered by fan noise. ATI keeps its graphic drivers up to date and this card is by no means obsolete. I am very pleased with this card.

ATI RADEON 9200 Graphics Card

Strengths: ATI Made, Affordable, Sturdy, 128mb Ram, drivers and software

Weakness: Hard to overclock and can't handle high end games

I had an old gF2 2years ago then upgraded to this as the first thing i added on to my computer. As soon as i installed it, which was simple, it worked great. To this day i still use it as a back up. I lone it to friends that don't have a sufficient card and they have no problems. I originally purchased it for i think $120.00 and it was worth it then and now that its cheapier its even more worth getting. You will not be able to handle the newer high end games like EQ2, DOOMIII, or CS:S, but for nething else this card is all that you need. - The only card you should have if you dont play online games and a good card for the average online gamer. I now use a 9800pro as my primary : )

I have this card and I can run CS:S, HL2, HL2DM, HL2 Episode 1, ect. Even though its at 800x600 resolution and no AA or AF or HDR. Still looks good to me.

ATI Radeon 9200 review

Strengths: Plays most games like GTA3, Vice City, Max Payne 2, Hitman Contracts

Weakness: Don't expect this to be a powerful video card for later games like Doom 3, Half Life 2 and others.

It's a cheap simple video card to go around when you're on a budget. There are plenty of better ATI cards than this one. Can't think of anything else to write.

ATI RADEON 9200 Graphics Card

Strengths: No fan, runs quitely. good perfermence/price ratio.

Weakness: No DVI out put. If you have a LCD monitor, this is not a good choice.

I am not a 3D game fans. The main reason I bought this card is because it does not have fan and runs very quietly. I have been using this card for more than one month, and I did not see any problem with it.

ATI RADEON 9200 Graphics Card

Strengths: 128 MB, 8x, nice software

Weakness: not much of a GAMERS card

good enough for a guy who doesnt pay much attention to graphics, the card was relatively cheap considering my standards for the video cards. There are better cards for more money like the Radeon 9800, but it depends on yoru taste. Make sure the card isn't OEM, mines was an official ATI card. Anyhow, buy it and enjoy.

ATI Radeon 9200

Strengths: Easy install, best for videos (not gaming!) is a standard card, EQ, W.O.W and Call of Duty 2 in satisfactory ability.

Weakness: NOT for gamers, never good on Quake 4, FEAR, Half-Life 2, etc. that are highend

Go for a Radeon x600 or above if you are a gamer. Tried Quake 4 Demo on my Radeon 9200 and it was - horrible! - . I cried. So if you are looking for a good card for gaming, go for the x600 or above, but overall the 9200 is best for media video, movies and editing film and such.

ATI RADEON 9200 Graphics Card

Strengths: Easy install. Better than the GForce 2MX I had.

Weakness: I still notice just a bit of slow frame rate while playing Blood Omen 2. But only when the title comes out, After that it seem's to be ok.

Real easy to install. Only noticed a bit of slow frame rate. Not too bad. It's a lot better than the GForce2MX I had. It's alright for the price. 128MB is real nice. I play Everquest a lot and this card seems to handle the game very well. I'll keep this card till I get enough cash to purchase the 9700 Pro or 9800. Till then it makes me happy. Yes I would recommend it.

ATI RADEON 9200 Graphics Card

Strengths: Easy to install

Weakness: Not fast enough to go head to head online with people

If u don't get online and play against people and just play against the computer this is the perfect card. Its very dependable Ati makes a very good card and i have had no trouble with it except the Dvd driver errors. The big pain in the rear for me is Ati itsself, I tried to contact them and ask about the Dvd error but could not afford a bill to canada and its hard to just email them or it was for me

ATI RADEON 9200 Graphics Card

Real easy to install. 128 MB is real nice. TV and DVI out. Works great. Ati makes a very great card and i have had no trouble with it. The support line is great and you get quick response. I've had ATI cards and cards by other vendors. I'll stay with ATI.

I'd recommend this card.

ATI RADEON 9200 Graphics Card

Strengths: Good solid card with good features. Good price

Weakness: Software that came with it did not allow it to function properly.

Had to download hours of files before it was functional, and some of the software still isn't, although not anything that I think I need. Once I got it working, it is light years better than what I had before.

Radeon 9200

Strengths: AGP 8x 128MB Good card Low cost

Weakness: No more driver updates

This is...well...was, a great card. Im a big game player with little money. So I got lucky and found this card. It runs HL2, HL2 Episode 1, Counter Strike Source, ect. I run it on 800x600 No AA, AF, or HDR. I still think it looks good.
This card doesnt play Oblivion well. And probably wont be compatible with any new games from now. So if your a gamer, this may not be the best card for you anymore.
If your not a gamer, but work with photos or video, This would be a good card for you.

ATI RADEON 9200 Graphics Card

Strengths: Quiet, AGP interface, Reliable brand

Weakness: No DVI

I purchased this card to replace my old PCI card. It is easy to install, and has enough power for what I need. I mostly use the PC to watch TV. This card is doing great to give me good pictures (much better than the old card I have). It is not good for you if you want to play the latest 3D games.
