I have been shopping at Visiondirect.com for many years. Unfortunately, the customer service and operations are getting steadily worse, and this will be the last time I order from them. I purchase gas permeable contact lenses. They of course need a copy of my prescription, which I FAX to them as instructed. No response. I telephone them, get a clerk who barely speaks English (not a foreigner, just a Gen Y loser) and she says "we didn't get it". She gives me another, DIFFERENT FAX number. I send it again. No response. I telephone them again a couple days later, they grudgingly acknowledge that they've received the FAX and the order is "in process". This company sends NO confirmations of anything, NO indications that an order documentation is complete, no indication that it will be shipped or ANYTHING. This was acceptable five years ago. This kind of lame customer service is NO LONGER the standard. |
