Considering that there aren't many other options out there for a voip cellphone the Pretige 2000w V.2 is a pretty decent phone. The range is good and the setup is fairly easy.
The problems with this phone is that the battery life can be very short if you're far away from a network and that the price is steep.

TopStrengths: The phone works ok. No crashes, good voice quality.
Weakness: low battery life (Stand-by: 1 day, 2 hours talk), no dock, just a charging cable Horrible setup, bad documention, poor hotline, does not work with all wep keys, no talk time display, range.
When I received the phone it took me half a day to set it up. In the manual the web configuration was described. But it was nowhere described that you can't change most of the settings with the user name stated in manual . After I called the hotline 3 times someone finally knew the problem and gave me an admin login.
I use it quite a bit and what really frustrates me is the battery life. When it is empty you have to plug it into a charger. I use it as a home phone and would prefer a docking station. I think it is frustrating that there are not any affordable alternatives. It is pricey and for that you receive a phone that is equipped like a cordless handset ten years ago.

Very nice phone with crystal clear voice quality, the range is also good. Only weakness is little bit less Battery life. XyZEL Prestige 2000W VOIP wifi phone is a pretty decent phone. It is very easy to setup.

TopStrengths: easy to connect to the network and support for ppope which another voip device i had did not support
Weakness: it came locked to a specific sip
One user mentioned it was easy to unlock, the question is how?
zyxel site has everything you could need, I lost the cd that came with the phone and the manuals which i could download easily, i could configure the phone to connect to my network in a few minutes (it was a little tricky to find a way to delete from the keypad, but the manual helped there) but i ran into problems when trying to setup my voip account, my device came locked so i could not regiter it.

This is a nice phone and I love it. I purchased it from Office Depot at clearance price. So I do not have the same complain like others for high price. It's a nice looking VOIP phone with clear voice. What else I can expect. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best voip wifi phone in the market. The Voice Quality is Excellent. It works great with my wireless devices at home. This product is very easy to unlock. I unlocked it and using it with cheap VOIP service provider. If the battery life had been better, it was a super phone. Never the less, it's great phone indeed.

mine came locked and cant use it because of it
Strengths: Excellent concept, good voice quality.
Weakness: Range, battery life, price, not compatible with all voip/wifi networks.
One of the first voip wifi phones on the market, if not the first. So you will always run into some first-generation issues with a product like this.
Works great at home where I can control my Wifi network and range. Does not work so well when you know there's a Wifi network in your area and you just want to hop on it quick to make a call, especially if encryption is involved.
My coworker set up an Asterisk PBX server and several of us have these Zyxels, so now we can call each other any time 100% free over our Internet connections.
Linksys, DLink, and other manufacturers are coming out with similar products soon, so I might wait and give them a try if I was in the market for a VOIP Wifi phone.

A bit bigger and heavier than the UTStarcom F1000, the blue backlit ZyXEL P2000W V2 scores points for its normal-sounding ringtones. It's a bit thinner than the F1000, so it's a better fit for your pocket despite the added length. Unfortunately, that's pretty much it for the pluses.

Cheap quality but first of its kind
Strengths: neat idea
Weakness: doesn't work with all VOIP companies, fast drain battery
word to the wise, doesn't work with Packet8 but it does work with several other VOIP companies. Great idea but rough beginning. Battery life is less than a day if you leave it on, longer if you don't leave it on. Phone seems flimsy but functional.
