Overall an excellent watch

Strengths:

Impressive features with stylish and finely polished exterior. Very light in titanium.

Weaknesses:

No back light for the digital display, and carbon fiber dials are thin and not very visible in dim light.

Posted Oct 2, 2007 - Bought the watch two months ago. Overall it's an excellent watch and I am very happy with it. Pros: 1 - Stylish and finely polished exterior. Goes well with both dress and casual. 2 - Very light in titanium. 3 - Ergonomic design with comfortable bracelet. 4 - Impressive features like Altimeter (in feet and meters), Chronograph (split and add time), Compass, Alarm, Thermometer (in C and F), Barometer as well as Date and Time (choice of 12H and 24H). 5 - Touch screen works exceptionally well. 6 - Extremely accurate time with Swiss quartz movement. 7 - Anti-reflective and scratch-resistant sapphire to make it easy to read. Cons: 1 - No back light for the digital display. 2 - Carbon fiber dials are thin and not very visible in dim light. 3 - Some functionality need improvement. For example: (i) Thermometer affected by body temperature. Need to take off 15 to 30 minutes before measure for accurate measurement; (ii) Compass has some variation when checking against a manual compass; (iii) Altimeter calculates based on atmospheric pressure so it must be calibrated prior to use from a known altitude. 4 - May look a little bit chunky for some people.

The future of watches

Strengths:

Superior technology, stylish look, top of the line watch

Weaknesses:

No backlight on digital display

Posted Apr 26, 2007 - When I first saw this watch at the jewelry store I was blown away. I haven't been able to stop thinking about buying one since (that was 6 months ago). Finally the wife made it my birthday present. Best present ever.

T33.7.888.92 T-touch Mens Titanium Watch

Strengths:

The watch arrived in perfect working order and feels great when wearing it.

Weaknesses:

The thick instruction book that is included is a disgarce only a few pages are in English.Instrutions on the watches features are confusing and diffcult to understand even for a college graduate.

Posted Dec 14, 2006 - I require medium strength reading glasses for books and computer screen usage. I can only read the time on the watch face when I have my reading eyeglasses on and in good light. My old $26.00 Timex was readable without eyeglasses. The problem is the Hour markings and the watch Hands are both in White. They blend together thus making the watch unreadable. Between the confusing few pages of English instructions in the manual (even with a college degree) describing features and the useless watch face I am very dispointed and disgusted with my purchase. I had selected this watch partly because of its dark Black face. Blue and Black tend to make reading time without eyeglasses easier. I plan to go back to the $26.00 Times except for social functions where I will wear the Tissot even though I cannot read the time. Don't waste your money on this watch if you wear eyeglasses to read only. If you wear eyeglasses full time then the watch is just OK.

James Bond Watch (without the magnet or saw feature)...

Strengths:

Multi-functional features: Altimeter, Chronograph (stopwatch feature), compass, alarm, meteorological reader, and thermometer. I like the look of a highly polished titanium wristband.

Weaknesses:

In order for the Thermometer function to work properly, you must remove it from your wrist and wait about 15 minutes (minimum) to get an accurate reading. Lack of dual time zone feature.

Posted 1 year ago - This watch goes beyond the your normal everyday watch with just stopwatch or multiple time zone features. Each of the six features is activated simply by touching a position on the crystal watch face, hence the name T-Touch (To activate the crystal, the user must first press a button on the side). Pressing the crystal at the 12 o’clock position activates the Meteorological Function. This feature gives you the barometric pressure (in hectoPascals). At the same time, the watch hands point anywhere from the 10 o'clock to the two o'clock positions to indicate a high pressure (sunny) or low pressure (stormy) zone. Pressing the crystal at the 6 o’clock position activates the compass feature. This feature is great if you are lost or hiking as it shows your relative position from the North Pole. Tapping the crystal at the 2 o’clock position activates the altimeter feature. This feature gives you the barometric pressure relative to your distance of sea level. To get an accurate pressure reading, you must calibrate the watch by setting the altitude to a known height (in meters) relative to sea level. You must keep in mind as you experience weather changes, you will see changes in pressure as well. Pressing the 10 o’clock position activates the Thermometer feature. This is probably the only disadvantage of the watch. You must take the watch off anywhere from 15-30 minutes to get an accurate reading (in Fahrenheit or Celsius). Otherwise the watch will display the body temperature of the wearer. The watch is accurate to +/- 1.8 degF, within the 15-140 degree Fahrenheit range. Pressing the crystal at the 8 o’clock and 4 o’clock positions respectively activates the alarm and chronograph (stopwatch) features. Of course as an added bonus you get the time feature presented to you with a digital readout in addition to the seeing the watch face/hands. This is clearly a watch for the guy who loves his gadgets.
