Posted Dec 10, 2005 - The diameter of the face is 1-3/16 inch which is a bit larger than most ladies watches. The bracelet is sized for about a seven inch wrist and has a smaller setting. Every jewelry store and several of the department stores where I found this stated they could remove a link from the bracelet easily to adjust the size if needed. The clasp on the bracelet is called a “double fold over deployment buckle”. What’s nice about this clasp is it's almost invisible so the bracelet has the appearance of an expandable bracelet but will not pinch the skin. A mother of pearl face beams brightly with sixteen diamonds circling around the three round eyes and offset square date window. Both the hour and minute hands appear white but are luminous and glow softly in a greenish hue. The diamonds surroundiing the face catch the light in a most interesting manner casting a small constellation of reflected rainbow sparkles. Bulova’s owner’s guide explains the workings in detail and is available in a free PDF file on their website. There is a two year warranty provided by Bulova. The watch arrived in a nice presentation box with the bracelet strapped around a little pillow.
