Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 White Box

Excellent product

Posted Dec 17, 2007 - The quality of the picture is pretty good. The picture delivered is sharp and clear. Also, the webcam adjusts to lighting conditions automatically, even on OS X Leopard. The picture looks great in most lighting conditions, including low light. One caveat though is that on the Mac, the frame rate is a bit low. This is in contrast with what is experienced on the PC running Windows. This is probably due to the lack of special drivers for the camera in Mac OS X. The webcam was connected to a G4 PowerBook laptop and an Intel-based Mac mini, both running Mac OS X. So far, the camera works with the following Mac applications: iChat, Skype, Yahoo! Messenger, and Photo Booth. It doesn't work with iMovie. I also tried plugging the webcam into the Playstation 3. Amazingly, the webcam works on the PS3. Frame rate, however, is like that on the Mac.

Quickcam Pro 5000.... fun camera with quality

Posted Oct 8, 2006 - This is my second webcam, bought it for someone else and thought of testing it. The video quality was so good... works great even in dim light... face accessories and avatars make the conversation even much more fun. I might be keeping it with me and buy second one for the gift...;-)

Quickcam Pro 5000

Posted Dec 10, 2007 - This Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000 can be a very good choice for someone who looks for very good quality webcam. It has very nice microphone also, and their avatar software is really fun.

QuickCam Pro 5000

Posted Nov 25, 2007 - This WebCam was easy to install and setup. The camera works great! The overall picture of the camera is nice and full of color. I'm glad I got this camera.

very nice

Posted Apr 22, 2007 - Maybe logitech fusion is better. But this one is cheaper and I am very happy with this logitech pro5000. Images are good. easy to use and install with skype or msn. I would suggest it to others.
