zaymourth - (February 26, 2004) I have family living in a different continent that I speak with *everyday* and this cameras image quality and low light function are just incredible. I can turn off my lights and with only the monitor as my main light source my family can see me crystal clear. The microphone works well, software was easy to install, the camera clips on to the top of your laptop and never gets in the way. I have a wireless network and the camera works with no hiccups wirelessly...it's awesome. It has a nice aluminum finish and folds up really nicely for travel. Worth every penny.

tshi - (November 22, 2004) Good deal if you find good price. Need 4 AAA batteries to work as dc or dv, qualities will be low of course comparing to specific dc/dv. No need of battery as a webcam connecting to computer. Adjustable brightness/contrast/Gamma effect etc. at the webcam setting in computer.

Anemotion - (September 14, 2004) (update num 2 16th January 2004) I think what it is or that i've read is that some or a few can go bad after a few month.? am not certain , i've tested it in 3 other machines one of which had windows 98 on still no difference. But i still say what i say that when it was working it was a very nice cam for the money. It may just be bad luck but this problem has put me off getting another one. (!update 18th December 2004!) I thought this was important to mention this but recently have had problems with the webcam it has been showing a blackscreen even when on rendering the camera useless. There appear to be some other people also experiencing this issue. I've tried the reccommenda

ynagarajrao - (11/26/2009) The webcam is nice to have with laptop. It is not very good with deskstop. the performance is diminished when i started using on deskstop. It is needs at least 1 GB Ram memory, it does not work with less than that. Nagaraj

okiealan - (09/05/2009) This cam is the worse I have ever owned! I have owned several good cams since the mid 90s but were not compatible with newer OSs as they came out. This cam has always had driver issues that conflict with Microsoft OS. Microsoft web cam that didn't work with their own OS. I always kept drivers up to date and with every new release the issue starts again. The only drivers that ever part-time worked were ver. 1.3 I have owned this cam several years now and finaly threw it away. PIECE OF CRAP!

donbulard - (06/04/2009) After following the exact procedures to install the webcam and upload the software, I had high hopes it would work. It does work affter you upload and reuplload and reupload the software every time you need to uuse it to make an internet call with video. I bought it to communicate with my daughter and granddaughter but have to spend to much time reuploading software to make it worth while as it is. The technical support says to go out and buy a new computer to try it on it to see if the problem still exists and if it does then to try downgrading from version 11.9 software to version 11.8. I will try to resolve the issue myself or at least find a satisfactory workaround because the picture is good.
