Belkin wireless g usb adapter

Strengths: Works good if you can get it setup
Weaknesses: Hard to impossible to setup
It say's it will work on Win98 ME 2000 and XP but I tried to get it to work on 2 computers with Win98se no luck tried to get it to work on computer with Windows ME no luck 1 computer with xp ok the other computer with xp a laptop is working fine, maybe a problem with this unit not sure starting to get agravated.

The 7050 does not work with Windows XP Home.
I've tried installing it a dozen times. I've been on the phone with Belkin support for nearly two hours (including three transfers and numerous holds). After bunch of questions about how many computer we have, they all have me uninstall and reinstall the sofware, then plug in the 7050. Windows never recognizes it.
The Belkin people ask me over and over for the model number. Then they ask is it version a, b, or c. The version letter isn't printed on the 7050 or on the box. Then they say the version letter isn't important and ask me what the device looks like.
This is the same experience I've had with other Belkin products. Their cables are fine, but anything with electronics in it either doesn't work or stops working randomly.
