EEEEeek! I thought this was a great product. It worked pretty good and then.... I downloaded a new firmware and it crashed the router. It took 2 days to fix. Tech support, better make that tech unsupport. Definitely a HUGE language problem. Finally I have resorted to using email to try and get some small amount of support. Consider the following snippets of email....

I got this as an answer but it is not correct. I know what NAT is and that's not what caused the dropped packets. The bottom line for me is I want to set up my own rules. If this product doesn't allow that, which product does? I'd hate to have to get a Cisco for my house! Thanks.

What is causing the firewall is NAT there is no way to turn it off. What is recommended is that you upgrade the firmware on the router to 2.18. Also make sure for the VPN if you have to open any ports for example PPTP or IPSEC or any other ports for authenticating with the vpn. If you are still having problems with the vpn please contact us again as send us the following information below.
Network Address Translation: NAT is the translation of an Internet Protocol ... single IP address in its communication with the world.
