Review of Netgear WGPS606NA Wireless Print Server

Strengths: VERY easy to install and connect. I had my 8 year old son assist so that I can start introducing him to various technoloiiges, and he immediately picke up on the application concept and installation.

Weaknesses: only allows for 54 Mbps throughput. I am running this print servier with a NetGear MaxRange notebook card (108 Mbps). Netgear needs to add this to MaxRange family.

Overall, and very stable product. Absolutely no problems experienced. I am using the Print server as both an extended Access Point and Wireless Print Server. Since running most of needs through DSL (less than 54 Mbps), I am not expereincing any bottlenecks or printing issues.

Strongly recommend this product to others, especially when Netgear runs various rebates through retailers. An awesome product, an awesome value!!

So, just to confirm, this can be used as an access point to communicate back to my wireless router that is hooked up to my cable modem for Internet access? ...to rebroadcast my wireless Internet connection? as well as be used as a wireless print server? thx.
