5 Star Review One of the best (If not best) Racing games I have ever played

zoglog - (November 30, 2005) Let me start first off by saying that I'm not a hardcore racing game fan. However I have played a decent share of racing games from Forza and GT4 to Burnout and NFS. I never passed many of the courses on all of the above games and probably the racing game i've played the most is Need For Speed Hot Pursuit. The most noticeable at first and one of the most amazing parts about this game are the graphics. The levels are amazingly detailed and accurate. This is probably one of the reasons why for the limited locales in the game. Each locale has a decent amount of tracks but of course it never hurts to have more locales to make things more interesting. I took the time to slowly cruise throug

4 Star Review Extensive RPG

zoglog - (April 20, 2006) Currently I've clocked in around 9 hours in this game but I have a pretty good feel of the pros and cons present in the game. First off the graphics are pretty impressive and make good use of the 360's power. The quality is comparable to the PC version but is not quite like the PC version on max quality like the devs claimed. Despite the very long draw distances, the textures far off are noticeably unimpressive which provides an extremely disturbing contrast. My biggest gripe is with the framerate outside. Perhaps I've been spoiled by the smooth framerates in Call of duty but I expected it to run @30 FPS at least at all times. However in many locales outside I find myself with the FPS droppi

5 Star Review The game where you have a chainsaw on a gun.... and chop up stuff

zoglog - (November 13, 2006) There's all sorts of buzz in the air around Gears of War. Typically you'll see the game associated with phrases like "OMG that's Gorgeous" or "!%@!ing awesome". On the surface, Gears of War definitely does impress with presentation and graphics. The game feels and plays like a cinematic movie with non-stop action and fury. Needless to say, if you want a game that will visually impress anyone, look no further than Gears of War. Now granted no matter how pretty a game is, it still doesn't make a game great. I'm happy to say that Gears of War is a solid game underneath as well. Both Campaign modes and Multiplayer modes control relatively the same. The only difference in multiplayer is tha

1 Star Review Don't Buy

DanielJForman - (07/24/2011) Do NOT buy this game. Wipeout is quite possibly the worse investment of $50 in my life. I give the game 2 out of 10 stars. It gets one star for being family friendly and another for facilitating exercise, but that's it. I have played half a dozen games for the Kinect and enjoyed them all; however, this game just ticked me off. The control system for moving ones character is totally unnatural and awkward to say the least. If this was any other type of product, I would have returned it.

5 Star Review Great game

Speardane - (09/26/2010) They have improved on Halo 3, in my opinion. The jetpack, sprint, armor lockup are nice additions. Sprint is my favorite. I like the new single shot rifle better than the old 3 round burst. The handgun can zoom in, making it a shortrange sniper option. Also the variety of vehicles and weapons make it more interesting taking down enemy wraiths and such, there's more ways to go about it. No dual-wielding weapons though. Awesome game.

4 Star Review Dragon Age: Origins (Xbox 360) Review

JinxG2 - (01/06/2010) Dragon Age is a game targeted at the adults, with offensive/humorous language, gore and decapitations, and "love-making" scenes that make you think that the main hero is a one minute wonder man/woman lasting under 40 seconds. However, with some of the exciting bits mentioned, it is time for one big flaw which made me pause and reconsider having Dragon Age for Christmas, no Game+ (which means you cannot carry on the game after you complete the main story line)! Most successful RPG games for example: Pokemon, Dragon Warrior Monsters and even a racing game like Need For Speed: Underground 2 (for all you early 21st century racers) have a Game+! It makes you think 'Ah, all that hard work and effort did not go to waste, lets see if i can still get pawned at the maximum level!' but with Dragon Age this ceases to exist and with it, so does your pride and joy raising a character for 30-60 hours to the maximum level. However, it isnt all that bad playing through the story line before reaching your inevitable fate. The story is fragile to the players choice's throughout the game, whatever the player decides to do whenever asked a question to join a certain side in a quest affects the whole outcome of the story. For example, the player may wish to side with a tribe of Dalish Elf's to put in motion the extintion of werewolves, or perhaps would like to side with those werewolves and put an end to the Elf's both of which have a massive effect on the games story. The combat is not particularly common on most RPG games on the Xbox 360, for Dragon Age is considered best to be played on the PC with many common traits that come from MMORPG's (Massive Multiplayer Online Role PLaying Game) for example Wow (World of Warcarft). It is complicated but not hard to get used to and the effects of enhancement/resistance spells and traps adds a tactical challenge to those who of course love a bit of a challenge (Although, if strong enough, just running up to the enemy swinging your sword, and singing your favorite song whilst looting the enemy can also be done) I would also like to comment about the achievements, i must warn you if you are a Gamerscore-hore as i call them and hunt down achievements in as little time as possible i do not consider this game for you. I have been playing for 60 hours and i have only achieved 38/55 acheievements, the harder ones are yet to come (Traveller achievement will be your un-doing because the choices you make will effect the areas you visit, if you fail to visit one area you must start the game again, it requires you to visit all locations in one playthrough :P). The DLCs for the game have their bad and good points. The good points are that 2 DLC's are free with the game (The Stone Prisoner costing 1200 MP if you do not have a code and Blood Dragon Armor) and if The Stone Prisoner was free for you, the character you obtain, Shale, is extremely useful. But, here comes the bad points, The Stone Prisoner is not worth the 1200 MP the quest only lasts about 10 minutes and i know I'd rather go on a shopping spree for my avatar with 1200 MP than spend it on a new character and 2 new achievements. Also, the new DLC 'Return To Ostagar' has been delayed for unknown reasons but it's worth 400 MP which isn't all that bad. This game, if it were equipped with a Game+ would of been rated 5 beautiful red stars, but because it does not have this crucial aspect and also because their are quite some bugs in the game that can be used for cheating, i have given this 4 stars. P.S - Extansion Pack 'Dragon Age: Awakening' will come out 16/03/10 at a price of $40.00 (Eur and Aus prices unknown, same with the Xbox and PS3) is a must buy, for those who enjoy this game enough and would not mind spending the extra cash in their wallets.
