One of the most amazing racing games for the Xbox
Stunning graphics; four game modes; realistic driving conditions; collision detection on the money; pleasing sound effects
NOT a racing simulation; no online play
Posted Jun 30, 2006 - Rallisport Challenge is a racing game for the Xbox that captures the essence of what rally races are all about. Although the game is not a true racing simulator, its arcade-like features don't make the game any less desireable. In fact, the arcade feel adds to the excitement and electricity of the game. The first thing you notice when you play the game is how visually impressive it is. The cars and tracks are beautifully rendered, and the cars respond appropriately to the different terrains that you drive in. You won't notice any clipping problems in this game, with the cars sustaining damage only when you actually do hit another object. A cool effect that should be a standard by now is that the cars look progressively worse as they sustain more damage. With four main game modes and over 40 tracks to race on, you won't get bored any time soon with this game. The only significant complaint is the lack of any online play. This game seems like it was built to race against buddies online, and it's a shame that this can't be done. In any case, this game is a must have. Don't pass it up!
