I buy things through online retailers all the time, and xpcgear.com is the absolute worst place I have ever dealt with. EVER. I was more than patient with them and they were totally incompetent and absolutely unwilling to fix their mistake. Because of their mistake I was charged twice for the same order, overdrafted on my bank account, charged NSF fees, and STILL.... NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING! Please, I am begging you, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! |

This company brings a whole new definition to suck. They sent me a defective media reader. I played email tag with their tech support for several days (no one answers the phone). They eventually decided to replace it, but I had PAY to ship it back to them. This is my first and now my last purchase from xPCgear.com. Buyer beware. |

I should have paid attention to the reviews. I ordered 3 Vantec case fans and all of them had broken fan blades. I reported to xpcgear that I opened one box and the fan blade was broken and figured the rest were broken as well so I requested a RMA for a refund. They responded by saying I should RMA it with Manufacturer. Horrible customer service and return policy! So I opened the other two fan boxes and sure enough they were broken as well. The UPS box was in good condition so I can only surmise that they shipped defective products. I will never buy from them again. I recommend to avoid this company. You might be attracted to the low cost but you'll probably spend more money buying your product again. |

I ordered a DVI to HDMI cable since they had the best price. They shipped it quickly, but when I received the cable and inspected it I found that they had shipped me a cable that had been used before. The cord was dented, scratched and scuffed, and worst of all the cable had a cut in it, all the way down to the bare wire. I double checked and sure enough, the web page said nothing about it being used or damaged. I immediately tried to contact the company but after several week I have had no responses. I would not recommend this reseller for any reason. The $5 savings on the cable certainly won't cover purchasing a new undamaged one. |

Agree with other reviewers - this vendor ships defective Asus boards. Purchased a P5NSLI board, network connection and microphone failed to work. In addition, I got hit with a $56 shipping charge after they already charged me $18 for shipping once it arrived from UPS. Got the board realized network did not work. Called them - they insisted it could be fixed no need to RMA. Worked with them and Asus got that fixed (took 3 weeks). THEN discovered microphone does not work. Asked them to replace - they said no against their policy too much time has passed, since they took so long on the network connection. Spoke to their RMA Manager and the General Manager and got a long email about policy. Pretty much now I need to go to Asus - who does have excellent customer service - You will note when you call xPC that it says "Your Satisfaction is our First Concern" - no, their policies and covering their butts is their first and only concern. I would not buy again and I would never recommend it... |

I now have to deal with ASUS for repair under warranty. Had a very bad experience with this vendor. Will never buy again from this vendor. |

XPCGear rocks! I bought my Asus Core 2 Duo motherboard 3 weeks ago and found that the Intel Core 2 Duo Conroe processor is not released yet!?!?! Being so eager to get my Vista system running, I had called numerous stores, but no one has that in stock. I then pre-order from almost all stores that took pre-orderS of the Conroe CPUs. This Monday, I got a call from XPCGEAR and was told my order will be shipped that day, I kinda doubt it because every store said the processor won't be avaialble for another 10 days. And the next morning, the E6400 CPU arrived, brand new, shining in a fancy box. I immediately called all stores that I had placed orders with to cancel my orders. Luckily, no one had the processor in yet, so I don't have to deal with the hassle of returning shipped packages. Time to build my new computer with Windows Vista Build 5472 now! |

Very unhappy with experience- The item was defective when received. Had to place my credit card charge in dispute before receiving any response from them and then had to incur the shipping cost both ways for an item that was defective when it was shipped out by them. This is the second time I have ordered a video card from this vendor. In both instances the transactions were easily accomplished and services were speedy. No nonsense, just plain old good service and quality products. The packages were well packed - best I even seen. I even received a shipping confirmation email 4 hours after I placed the order. My overall expirience with xPCgear.com was excelent! Sound products at amazing prices. I placed my order on Thursday, and it shipped monday, just 2 business days after placing the order! This is pretty common among eCommerce anymore, but it is still a good trend to see. I liked the security feature of only shipping to billing address, this makes sure that no one can purchase from them with a stolen credit card! I never had to deal with their customer service reps. which is a good thing. |

seeing the last 2 poor reviews, i was bit hestitant to purchase from this place. Unfortunately, my frequent online shop is back ordered on leadtek 6800gt pci-e card. so I decided to give it a try. placed order on monday. item shipped out on wed. Overall, i'm very satisfied. called twice to confirm ship date and talked to a live operator both times. waited no more than 5 min on the phone. could improve on processing time. had to wait 2 biz days until item shipped out. would buy from them again. |

Very Displeased! My order needed confirmation. Called them. Had someone hang up on me 5 times. Can’t ship to the shipping address???? Only to billing. Never seen that before. Why even ask for a shipping address? Yeah, could you leave that package sitting in front of my house out in plain view, thanks. Why should I suffer the inconvenience of having to wrestle with my credit card company to add an address? Canceled that order, thanks for wasting my time. |
