BE FOREWARNED. I wish i would have seen the review from "rdavis1950" before I bought what I thought was a new camera a year ago. When the flash broke, I sent it in to Nikon for Warranty repair and they told me it was no longer covered b/c the camera was Refurbished. No where on any invoice or receipt does it say that I bought anything but a new camera. I tried to resolve this with the merchant but after 1 call they said I needed to speak to a supervisor and for the next 3 weeks of multiple voicemails left and emails sent this mysterious supervisor never returned any messages. Don't be deceived or lured in by the prices. One review with this problem could be an aberration but 2 with the same complaint is a pattern. |

I just want to let everyone know that my experience with yesmicro.com was the most unpleasant transaction that I have made via the internet.Order placed on 4/16. I didn't receive any response to either of 2 emails sent dated 4/30 & 5/10. 2nd email has not been answered as of 5/15. I was told product was new by Eli on the phone. It arrived as reconditioned with a 90 day warranty. Considerable confusion with confirmation of the order due in part to my not understanding what was required in order to get order shipped. Apparently the procedure is you order and yesmicro confirms with all the pertinent info by email and then you have to call and tell them yes the info they sent you is correct. To much hassle to purchase reconditioned electronics that you were told by phone was new. Forget getting yesmicro to respond to an email. Buyer Beware |
